Hosted in the heart of New York City, the New York International CINEVERSE Film Festival is a celebration of visionary storytelling through the art of short films. We are dedicated to providing a platform for emerging filmmakers, actors, and creators to showcase their work, connect with industry professionals, and engage with a community passionate about independent cinema.

Selected works have the opportunity to win a variety of awards, accolades, distribution opportunities, and prizes. Our awards are IMDb certified!

  • Short films under 25 minutes. Narrative & Documentary.

  • Music videos of any genre under 25 minutes.

  • Films from NYC-Based filmmakers under 30 minutes.

  • Feature-length films over 50 minutes. Or Pilot / Webseries over 20 minutes.

  • Romance films under 30 minutes.

  • Screenplays of any length, any genre. Submitted through the Hollywood Cineverse Screenplay Competition, our official script contest.

  • Awarded for exceptional performances. Add this category only once you have selected a base category such as Best Short Film.

SCREENING SOON

Official Nominations at our festival are screened in NYC. Filmmakers are encouraged to join us at these events for Q&As, for an awards presentation, and an opportunity to mingle with an enthusiastic audience.

Drew MacPowell is a US based Director and Producer. His love for storytelling has grown from spending time with people from many different cultures. The thing he loves most about film is the collaborations and friendships made along the way. We are happy to have him on our team at CinéCiné and can’t wait for all us to enjoy film together at our next event.
