    Job Description:
    As the Sponsorship and Strategic Partnerships Lead for the Sydney Short Film Biennale by CINEVERSE, you will play a critical role in driving the financial and promotional success of this epic event. You will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing high-impact sponsorship deals that align with the festival’s creative vision and brand values. This role involves cultivating relationships with corporate sponsors, local businesses, and global partners, ensuring they receive maximum value while enhancing the festival's presence and offerings.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify and target potential sponsors that align with the values and mission of the Sydney Short Film Biennale.

    • Develop customized sponsorship proposals tailored to the needs and objectives of corporate partners.

    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with sponsors, local businesses, media partners, and industry stakeholders.

    • Lead negotiations and manage contracts to secure sponsorships, ensuring both financial contributions and promotional collaborations.

    • Work closely with the marketing and production teams to integrate sponsor branding seamlessly into festival events, programming, and communications.

    • Ensure sponsor visibility and deliver on agreed benefits through strategic event activations, branded content, and exclusive engagements.

    • Provide ongoing evaluation and feedback to sponsors on the success and reach of their sponsorships.

    • Represent the Sydney Short Film Biennale and CINEVERSE at networking events, meetings, and industry conferences to foster new partnerships.

    • Proven experience in sponsorship acquisition, partnerships management, or business development, ideally in the arts, film, or event sectors.

    • Strong negotiation and communication skills with a track record of closing sponsorship deals.

    • Knowledge of brand marketing and sponsorship strategy within the film festival landscape.

    • Ability to develop creative sponsorship solutions that deliver value for both sponsors and the festival.

    • A passion for film and an understanding of the independent film community is highly desirable.

    • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills to connect with key stakeholders and partners.

Our goal is to celebrate and showcase innovative films while creating a dynamic space for networking, collaboration, and discovery.

    Job Description:
    We are seeking a highly organized and resourceful Festival Producer & Festival Manager or Festival Host to join our team. This individual will play a key role in the successful planning and execution of the festival, from pre-production through to the event's conclusion. The ideal candidate is an experienced fixer or producer with a passion for film festivals, local contacts, and the ability to manage logistics with ease. This candidate can also have Hosting experience. We asks that prospective hosts have over 2 years in public presenting and speaking.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Event Coordination: Oversee the festival’s logistics, including venue arrangements, screenings, panels, and special events.

    • Production Management: Coordinate with filmmakers, sponsors, and vendors to ensure smooth festival operations.

    • Budget Management: Develop and manage the festival budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality.

    • Local Fixer: Serve as the go-to person for navigating Singapore’s local regulations, securing permits, and working with authorities to ensure compliance.

    • Team Management: Lead and manage a small team of volunteers and staff, delegating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.

    • Marketing & PR: Work alongside the marketing team to promote the festival, drive ticket sales, and ensure excellent audience engagement.

    • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, filmmakers, industry professionals, and media partners.

    • Problem-Solving: Act as the festival’s point of contact for any on-the-ground issues, ensuring quick resolution and smooth operation throughout the event.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a producer, fixer, or event manager, preferably within the film or entertainment industry.

    • Deep knowledge of the local Singaporean landscape, including permits, venues, and film community contacts.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams simultaneously.

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    • Experience managing budgets and timelines under pressure.

    We are seeking a talented Social Media Manager focused on Instagram and Facebook to help us create and manage compelling content that drives engagement and growth. You will be responsible for crafting and executing strategies specifically for these platforms while utilizing your intermediate design skills on Figma to ensure a consistent, visually appealing brand presence.

    • Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to Instagram and Facebook.

    • Design and create engaging content (graphics, stories, reels, posts) using Figma that aligns with brand aesthetics and marketing goals.

    • Manage daily posting schedules and ensure timely delivery of content.

    • Monitor both platforms for engagement, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly.

    • Run targeted ad campaigns on Instagram and Facebook, optimize ads for performance, and report on results.

    • Track performance metrics (likes, comments, shares, followers, reach, etc.) to adjust strategies for growth and engagement.
